The original Cap has been updated with a new functional geometry, which adds even more utility to this rather useful component of our battery-free device. The new design includes two indentations to help the Cap to stay on while also allowing for a more even distribution of the airflow, as well as an improved tactile indication of both the heat up and cool down clicks. In addition, it allows for the free movement or spin of the cap. The Captive Cap is compatible with all DynaVap devices.
DO NOT apply heat past the click.
Overheating will permanently damage the cap.
DynaVap recommends that you use a butane torch lighter for optimal results. To ensure even heating, apply the heat to the cap, away from the end, and rotate the device steadily until you hear/feel a click. Directly heating the end of the cap will cause it to click prematurely, causing reduced vaporization.
With a torch lighter and a titanium tip, the typical heat-up phase takes 3-6 seconds and remains at vapor production temperature until the cool down click about 30 seconds later. After the cool down click, it is safe to begin another heating cycle. When using a soft flame lighter, the heat-up phase takes about 15 seconds. The stainless steel tip requires a longer heat-up time than the titanium tip.

- 30-Day Returns: New/unused. We cover return freight if it was our mistake; restocking may apply over $500 or for careless repack.
- Damages: Report within 14 days of delivery with photos, your invoice #, and the product code to claims@spswholesale.com.
- Missing/Pack errors: Tell us within 2 days of delivery; we record pack-out video to resolve quickly.
