DigiWeigh Scales

We've gotten a lot of defective item claims for the DigiWeigh scales recently and I thought it might be helpful to post a bit more information about how these scales are packaged.

Below, you will find an image of the scale fresh out of the box - the scale still in a clear plastic baggie as well as 2 AAA batteries that are included with the scale.

The next part is the tricky part. It looks all one piece, but the top half in front actually slides off. A picture with the black plastic cover slid off is below.

With the cover still on, the scale will often fail to register weight placed on it, or display the weight incorrectly or change the weight frequently. If you are experiencing issues with this scale and believe it may be defective, please verify that the black plastic cover has been removed before filing a claim.
