Description
The Hemper Pina Colada XL glass water pipe looks like it has an out-of-office reply set through next Thursday. A coconut-shaped chamber, striped glass straw mouthpiece and pineapple bowl commit fully to the tropical drink design. Even the garnish has a job here. Frankly, that feels unfair to the garnish.
The rounded coconut body sits on a clear pedestal base, with a white top surrounding the straw. The pineapple flower bowl has raised details and a little leafy side handle. It fits directly into the upright 14.5 mm female joint, separate from the straw mouthpiece on the opposite side of the chamber.
Inside, a large showerhead percolator sits near the bottom of the coconut. The transparent body leaves the perc and its curved internal stem in view. At 7 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter, this XL model puts the emphasis on a broad, rounded chamber rather than a tall neck.
